The loom she weaves on is of Swedish manufacture, well suited for a variety of product - from high tension, precision floor rugs, to light and airy evening stoles using handspun wool.

Her floor rugs, clothing and other items have been displayed in various New Zealand locations.

Hanne has been spinning and weaving for local and international clients since 1972.

Hanne's preferred media are New Zealand commercial wools; her own hand spun and hand dyed wool; and fabrics both used and new.

The rugs you see today incorporate hand-torn corduroy, hand-cut denim and hand-cut dress fabrics.

The woollen rugs are woven from high quality New Zealand carpet yarns.
